When you want a motorcycle with a combination of classic cruiser style but modern components and performance, you’d be hard pressed to find one better than the Softail® line by Harley-Davidson®. These bikes were borne of customization and were based on the design of one loyal Harley-Davidson rider who modified his own hardtail Super Glide. While these bikes were based on customization, they’ve been refined by Harley designers for decades, creating the smooth riding, high-performance bikes we have today. When you’re ready to take a ride on one for yourself, stop by Tucson Harley-Davidson®. Based out of Tucson, Arizona, we proudly serve Green Valley, Sierra Vista, and Tombstone, Arizona. Give us a call to set up a ride today!

The Softail Slim® is built like a classic bobber: strong lines, stripped down style, and a bad attitude. The High Output Twin Cam 103B engine lays out plenty of power, whether you’re trying to pass a truck on the highway or be first off the line at a stoplight in the city. The features on this bike just feel custom, like the chopped fenders, Hollywood bars, and cat-eye console. The suspension provides excellent handling with a comfortable ride thanks hidden rear suspension and burly front forks that keep the front tire planted. The half moon footboards offer a solid place to plant your feet when you need to dig into a tough corner, and the solo low-profile seat looks as good as it feels. The gas tank channels classic custom hot rod style with its horseshoe shape, meanwhile even the front headlamp looks like a custom piece with its simple but striking profile. This is a bike for people who use few words to make strong statements.

For a bigger, more powerful take on the bobber, go for the Softail Fatboy®. Those solid disc wheels have set the Fatboy® apart since it was released. It’s the kind of touch that people notice and comment on. Harley-Davidson got the name for this bike from the bike’s big rear end, which prominently features a road-gripping 200 mm tire. Keeping all that power and bulk in line is a set of 4-piston brakes with standard ABS. Even the controls have been customized and perfect, putting ergonomic controls where you need them. The Fatboy® can even move up into the touring bike territory with the addition of a two-person seat and some saddlebags for extra storage. Swept fenders and pinstriped paint options give this bike a handsome profile that no one can ignore. In classic Harley-Davidson style, the engine and many of the components carry a glistening chrome finish that looks amazing in the sun. All people will see when you fly past them on the road is a glint of shining metal.

The Softail® Deluxe is all nostalgia—perfect for those who want to bring the classic look and styling of the older generation of bikes into the 21st century. From the ground up, this bike is totally unique. White wall tires give a dressed-up look for Sunday rides, while wire spoke rims glint with the sun like no other design. The fully-wrapped fenders are extra long and crash like a wave over the tires. Two chrome mufflers belt out all the Harley-Davidson® sound you need from the High Output Twin Cam 103B engine. This is the classic air-cooled, V-Twin engine that helped make Harley-Davidson the icon it is today. With major performance, but minimal engine vibration, this engine is the heart of the Softail® Deluxe. You won’t find a better looking headlamp than the unique triple-light design on the Softail Deluxe, and the taillight has a unique tombstone design that lets everyone behind you know you mean business. If you prefer a custom paint job, you can choose from numerous colors in the optional Hard Candy Custom line. This is the type of bike that people are referring to when they talk about Harley-Davidson® as an icon of American motorcycle manufacturing
